If you know me, you know my dogs pretty much run my household — and my heart. After a long day of showings, there’s nothing better than coming home to those wagging tails. They remind me daily that love, in its purest form, often has four legs and a cold nose.
That’s why Furkids has such a special place in my heart. They’re Georgia’s largest no-kill animal rescue, and for more than twenty years, they’ve been saving the lives of cats and dogs who just need a second chance. Their team and volunteers go above and beyond — providing medical care, socialization, and love until each animal finds their forever home.
Walking through one of their shelters feels like walking into a place overflowing with hope. You see timid eyes start to trust again, tails start to wag, and lives begin anew. And just like helping a family find their dream home, Furkids helps pets and people find one another — creating the kind of joy that makes a house truly feel like home.
If you’re thinking about adding a furry family member (or just want to help), Furkids offers so many ways to get involved — from adoption and fostering to volunteering or donating.
